David K Jones has been playing bass guitar since he was 15 years old. His first band featured Peter ‘Budgie’ Clarke on drums, who went on to join Siouxsie and the Banshees. David has played in several bands over the years including the Liverpool based alt-prog band A Better Mousetrap, Plenty with Tim Bowness & Brian Hulse, a Beatles tribute band called The Café Beatles and an acoustic duo with folk singer Fil Ziebicki called Darker Than Amber. Currently David is the bass guitarist with Mama – Genesis Tribute Band, Moonshot, Plenty and The Swan Chorus. He plays bass on the following recent albums –

2019 Tim Bowness “Flowers At The Scene”, 3 songs including double bass on the title track
2020 Moonshot “Worlds of Yesterday”
2021 Plenty “Enough”
During the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021, not only did he record the new Plenty album with Tim Bowness and Brian Hulse, he also worked on an album of original songs with Brian Hulse and vocalist Peter Goddard. Brian, Peter and David were in the band A Better Mousetrap between 1981 and 1985. This is the first time the three of them have worked together since the 1980s.

About
Brian Hulse plays guitars, keyboards and programmed the drums (except on Don't Go). Brian co-produced, mixed and mastered the album. He is a member of Tim Bowness’ Live Band and has worked with Tim on his last three albums. Brian released a solo album , “Cotton Mills and Shoes” in 2020. Brian is also a member of Plenty with Tim and David, who recently released their second album “Enough”.

Peter Goddard was the original singer with A Better Mousetrap in the early 1980s. Since then, he has been involved with music in the Liverpool area in a wide variety of roles, including singer, songwriter, performer, arranger, manager, fixer and proud supporter. Somehow, he has managed to hold down a day job as an academic at the same time.
